$34.40 per hour + super
Key accountabilities:
- Processing accounts receivable invoices accurately through the Oracle and PowerHealth accounts receivable system within the established standards and procedures for the Shared Service Centre.
- Responding to both internal & external customer inquiries on accounts receivable matters and to ensure appropriate actions are taken to address the matter/s raised.
- Providing monthly statements to customers in accordance to departmental account receivable procedures and customers’ requirements.
- Initiating a follow-up procedure in accordance with departmental policy and procedures to finalise any outstanding accounts including liaison with customers on outstanding debts, un-receipted amounts and other accounts receivable related matters which may have an impact on the customer’s account.
- Contributing to the quality improvement of activities associated with accounts receivables to ensure they are efficient and effective.
- Ensuring all relevant records are created and maintained and subsequently archived and/or culled in line with the appropriate Disposal Authority applicable to each type of document.
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferably AR)
- Experience using Oracle and/or PowerHealth accounts receivable system
- Strong customer focus
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats
- Ability to work from departmental office in Goulburn
