Overview
Seeking experienced, resilient and empathetic Call Centre Operator to work within a busy emergency services call centre responding to customer enquiries. Immediate start at $34.40 p/h in Gladesville, Sydney.
Primary purpose of the role
Play a key role in an emergency service providing excellent customer service to the members of public for charges relating to transportation services provided. This is a busy call centre role which supports ensuring our client can meets its obligation in the management of revenue collection process.
The position will be required to respond to a variety of customer enquiries via phone, email or through written correspondence, providing exceptional customer service ensuring that the experience is a smooth and as efficient as possible to help support members of the public during which for some is a difficult time.
Key accountabilities/responsibilities
- Demonstrated commitment in providing a high level of customer service and the ability to deal with stressful and emotional situations, whilst being highly motivated and enthusiastic.
- Data Entry Skills – input data into Patient Health Care Records System with a high level of sustained accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Capability to use a wide range of computer hardware, software and electronic systems.
- Requirement for basic to immediate Microsoft Excel Skills.
- Self-driven, adaptable, resilient and be able to use initiative to make sound decisions.
- First point of contact for customer fees and charges.
- Assist in managing the revenue collection process including non-patient billing according to client policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative and clerical support and maintain records as per policy directives.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports.
- Contribute to the development, improvement and implementation of new processes and systems related to customer service.
- Contribute positively and be actively engaged in the development of team building and culture improvement exercises within Revenue Operations.
- Call centre experience preferred however on the job training will be provided.
- Remain calm whilst responding to calls and reports, ensuring that vital information is captured and recorded accurately in order to resolve the problems efficiently.
- Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of relevant policies and procedures to support efficient service delivery, record keeping and supporting a culture of safety in the workplace.
- Remain calm under challenging situations in an environment where customer expectations are changing rapidly.
