The position plays a key role in an emergency service providing excellent customer service to members of the public for charges related to Ambulance services. Responsibilities will include:
- First point of contact to the ambulance service for ambulance fees and charges.
- Respond to a variety of customer enquiries via phone, email or through written correspondence, providing exceptional customer service ensuring that this experience is a smooth and as efficient as possible and to help support the members of the public during a difficult time.
- Assist in managing the revenue collection process including non-patient billing according to relevant policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative and clerical support and maintain records.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports.
- Contribute to the development, improvement and implementation of new processes and systems related to customer service.
- Contribute positively and be actively engaged in the development of team building and culture improvement exercises within Revenue Operations.

In addition you will be able to remain calm whilst responding to calls and reports, ensuring that vital information is captured and recorded accurately in order to resolve the problems efficiently.
You will be able to quickly develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of relevant policies and procedures to support efficient service delivery, record keeping and supporting a culture of safety in the workplace.
