An AO4 Revenue Officer vacancy is available in the Client Operations team of the Queensland Revenue Office in Maroochydore. Working in a call centre environment, you will be responsible for receiving a high volume of calls relating to state taxes and grants, including duties, payroll tax and land tax.

In the role of Revenue Officer, you will be interpreting and providing information and assistance on revenue, taxation, debt, fines and legislative matters in a client centered environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Providing timely, helpful and supportive client services (both internal and external) while adhering to the Client Charter and other relevant client engagement standards.
• Providing accurate and consistent information, and/or education assistance, through various channels to clients or their representatives.
• Analysing, interpreting and applying relevant legislation, information and data, exercising sound judgement to make effective decisions, assessments and/or recommendations.
• Ensuring your work complies with established guidelines, procedures and record keeping standards.
• Actively contributing to the achievement of agreed team performance standards.
• Working collaboratively to identify and promote improvements which enhance client experiences and organisational outcomes.
• Navigate computer systems efficiently and effectively to maximise efficiencies and improve client services.
• Respond to technical enquiries and escalations where necessary.
• Manage client relationships and negotiate effectively to achieve outcomes.
• Coach team members to build a skilled, resilient, flexible and constructive workplace environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

• Ability to build working knowledge of the legislative environment.
