Position Status: Permanent Full Time
Hours of Work: 35 hour week (9 day fortnight)

The Revenue Officer is primarily responsible for the provision of timely and accurate rating services in accordance with Council’s procedures and statutory requirements to assist in the efficient and effective operation of the Finance division.Reporting directly to the Manager - Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of rating control and supervise all Council's rating processes and procedures, including debt recovery. Working within a dedicated team, this key role will require high level communication and relationship skills with a focus on providing high level customer service. Experience in a similar position within Local Government would be an advantage, along with relevant tertiary qualifications.Employment conditions are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
