Solinnov develops innovative solutions for real world complex signal processing problems in wireless communications, electronic warfare, and radar using FPGA-based software defined radios (SDRs). Having a strong core of FPGA firmware and software engineers, we are expanding our capability to design our own SDR hardware.
We work primarily with the Australian Government and Australian Defence. We have offices in Adelaide and Melbourne.
The Role
We are looking for creative problem solvers with a genuine interest in RF design, with the skills required to design and debug custom low power and power amplifier circuits in the context of constrained SWaP-C products.
The role will be based in Adelaide or Melbourne, with the expectation of travel between these sites and to other locations from time to time.
Applicants must be Australian citizens who are eligible for an NV1 security clearance.
Key Requirements:
Experience with RF designs.
A degree in Electronics, or Communications Engineering, or similar.
Experience with electronic design.
Ability to choose and source components for designs.
Ability to collaborate with a range of teammates, including electrical, mechanical, and industrial designers.
Experience using test equipment and debugging tools.
Desirable:
Experience using Altium Designer and CAD packages
Experience with documentation processes and packages.
Experience designing automotive radar systems.
Understanding of analog signal processing algorithms for radar, EW, and communications.
