The Risk Advisor:
Leads and supports:
- the application of the Board’s Risk Management Framework.
- the application of risk analysis, assessments, and reviews.
- the development of Business Continuity/Resilience Plans for each business unit.
- risk-based projects including the needed development and maintenance of current and new risk registers.
Provides advice on:
- the application of the risk framework, permissions, and reportingin the delivery of capital works program and projects.
- assurance activities on the application of the risk permissions, risk appetite and management tolerances.
- North East Water’s incident management teams in the application of risk-based decision making and business continuity plans during times of emergency and other business shocks.
- the enterprise-wide risk management system through delivery of briefings, presentations, inductions and training.
Coordinates:
- the corporation’sCritical Infrastructure Register (CIR), including periodic review and reporting.
- risk reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Selection Criteria
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated risk management experience, preferably in a regulated public sector or corporate environment.
- Completion of formal risk management and/or business continuity training.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of risk management processes in accordance with ISO31000 and the Victorian Government Risk Management Framework is highly desirable.

Position Information
- An attractive salary range of $78,527 to $100,709 plus 11% superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
- This is a full time, ongoing position.
