This role is a 12 month contract based opportunity with a high chance of renewal. A flexible, hybrid work environment ensures a great work-life balance - this is a Geelong based position and requires some time spent in office. This is a full time position open to Australian Citizens only.
About the Team
The Risk Advisory Branch supports the Agency to assess and manage risks. The branch supports risk owners to identify and manage risks inherent in their operating activities and strategic initiatives. They develop controls to mitigate risks and facilitate improved risk awareness and training, reporting on emerging risk profiles and trends.
The Risk Enablement team supports the Agency to identify and manage risks inherent in their operating activities and strategic initiatives. They assist the Agency groups with designing and monitoring controls to mitigate risks and facilitate improved risk awareness and training, reporting on emerging risk profiles and trends.
Responsibilities of the Role
Some of the requirements of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Providing informed risk advice on emerging issues impacting allocated portfolios by leading and facilitating risk discussions and workshops to identify, assess and control risks.
- Monitoring and analysing trends in mitigating risks, including risk treatment plans used to minimise potential exposure and harness opportunities.
- Developing, maintaining and implementing risk policies, plans, frameworks and guidelines.
- Establishing and monitoring key risk indicators and identifying and facilitating corrective action to mitigate risks.
- Developing and implementing risk management approach and processes to methodologies, projects or programs.
Requirements
- Australian Citizenship (required)
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Experience in Risk Management
- Strong Stakeholder management
