- Provide Risk subject matter expertise, advice and delivery support for business initiatives and/or strategy development
- Identify and work with the business for areas requiring improvement to support an overall uplift of risk maturity

The vital role of the Risk Advisor is to deliver risk advice, insights, and support deliverables / initiatives (per CPI Business and CPI Risk Program of Work) enabling the C&PI business to make better business decisions and drive consistency across Insurance.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Work directly with CPI business teams advocating the desired risk culture and improving risk capability and maturity throughout the business
- Perform activities as required to support the delivery of the CPI Business and CPI Risk Program of Work under the consistent approach for Insurance to adhere to Group Risk Management Frameworks, Policies and Standards
- Provide advice on Incident Management, Action Planning and Root Cause Analysis
- Analyse the businesses risk performance and share insights to support them in improving the identification and management of risk
- Support the CPI business with risk management activities and reporting that strengthen Insurance’s risk capability and culture.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years appropriate industry experience in Insurance or Financial Services
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within Risk related business area(s) (Desired)
- Experience in Commercial, Workers Compensation and/or Compulsory Third-Party Insurance– Highly regarded
- Advanced knowledge and experience in risk management practices and application in a business environment
- Ability to facilitate workshops, forums and committees and obtain outcomes.
