Our client is a not-for-profit organisation looking for a keen to learn and hands-on candidate to manage their Risk and Compliance function. This is a broad role with variety of work, it will be a full-time role in the office, building on and uplifting processes, frameworks, monitoring compliance and providing advisory to the business.Key points are:
- Ongoing review and maintenance of Risk and Compliance frameworks, processes, and policies.
- Compiling, developing, and preparing Risk and Compliance reports for senior management and Board.
- Implementing an ongoing workplace health and safety (WHS) program.
- Keeping up to date with regulatory and legislative changes, assessing impacts to the business and embedding changes into internal policies and procedures.
- Conducting risk assessments and managing risk registers.
- Managing incidents, reporting and ensuring appropriate records are kept.
- Providing Risk and Compliance advice and training to the business, answering queries.
- 2-4 years of Risk and Compliance experience.
- Experience working in not-for-profit or lean environment is ideal.
- Keen to learn, hands-on and ability to take on extra tasks.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant qualifications.
