The Risk and Clinical Governance Manager will have primary responsibility for risk and Clinical Governance strategies across Sonder. They will do this through the provision of expert advice across Sonder, and specifically to the Executive Management Team and Clinical Leadership staff and teams.

 

The successful candidate will develop and maintain robust systems to manage these strategies and will also develop and utilise relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance strategies to address risk and improve Sonder’s Clinical Governance structures and processes. This includes developing and implementing policies, procedures, and programs to minimize and manage risks, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and best practices.


Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in clinical role
  • Experience in a risk management or Clinical Governance role in a healthcare setting highly desirable
  • Experience in working with a range of partners and stakeholders to plan, implement and evaluate health services, programs and processes.
  • Experience in utilising effective and appropriate leadership styles to motivate, support and inspire others to work together in achieving good Clinical Governance
  • Experience in change management and contributing to an environment focused on quality and system improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare reports including recommendations.
  • Experience in performing organisation risk management activities

 

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in or health or related field
  • Post-grad qualifications in healthcare administration, risk or governance desirable
  • Current or willing to obtain a Working With Children’s Check
