The role
An opportunity exists to join the Risk and Compliance team in an exciting Line 2 role. As HUB24 continues to grow, you will play an important role in helping business partners to identify, manage and assess risk.
You will bring your subject matter expertise to identify, assess, mitigate and report on risk and compliance matters, whilst maintaining a practical appreciation for the commercial needs of the business.
The role will strategically partner with key internal stakeholders and add risk support to a number of important group wide projects. You will also be responsible for developing and presenting visual risk insights through dashboards & reporting plus the ongoing development of risk polices for the HUB24 group.
Key responsibilities
Provide risk and compliance advice and support across all risk class to Management, Executives and Boards.
Support robust risk-based business decisions through Line 2 advice and challenge.
Continue to develop and enhance the risk and compliance framework with the aim of identifying, monitoring, analysing, and reporting on potential risks and compliance issues faced by the Group.
Lead and support, the development and embedding of risk and compliance policies across the Group
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of risk culture and maturing the three lines of accountability model through collaboration and open communication with business stakeholders.
Assist with reporting to Executives, Board and Risk Committees as required.
Engage with key stakeholders and business teams across the Group and build and maintain relationships to drive the risk and compliance agenda.
Develop and conduct training across the HUB24 Group to improve risk and compliance capability and awareness
Help drive and maintain a strong and resilient culture of risk and compliance across the business.
Key requirements
3-5 years’ experience in Risk Management, Risk Consultancy, Risk Transformation, Controls or Governance roles, preferably in Wealth, Banking, Financial Services or Technology
Qualifications in either: Law, Finance, Commerce, or similar discipline.
Experience working in complex or fast paced businesses undergoing transformation.
A high level of maturity and commercial acumen, to develop proactive and practical solutions to the demands of the business.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and an ability to work across all levels including non-risk
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with impact and influence.
Apply strong analytical skills and high-level attention to detail.
Deliver quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
Bring a high level of energy and commitment to the team.
