Due to continued strong growth and the award of several new projects supporting critical infrastructure across NSW's transition to renewable energy, we are looking for a Risk Engineer to join our NSW team.
As the Risk Engineer, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with the assigned project. You will collate information and maintain a risk register, conduct comprehensive risk assessments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement proactive risk management strategies.
Key accountabilities for the position:
- Prepare and maintain detailed risk registers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Generate regular reports for project stakeholders, highlighting key risks and mitigation efforts.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and collaborate with project teams to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Develop risk models and simulations to support decision-making.
- Work closely with project teams to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Foster effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a cohesive risk management approach.
Capability & Experience will you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Risk Engineer or similar role in the civil infrastructure sector.
- Proficiency in risk analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
