Create impact as a Consulting Risk Engineer
Join the largest insurance group in Australia and New Zealand.Your RoleAs the Consultant Risk Engineer, you'll work across our Intermediated Insurance Australia Division (IIA) to help foster and develop our internal risk capability and ensure we are able to create a safer environment for our customers as well as developing existing relationships with our customers. This role will ensure that our underwriters have a deeper understanding of the high-level risks our customers face and how we can help them mitigate, maintain, or respond to these risks.This role will focus on promoting our services via client engagement at a high-level mid-market, as well as complex and specialty areas of the business from a property risk management perspective.This is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Sydney.About You
- Significant experience and demonstrated expertise in bespoke Risk Engineering within General Insurance, specializing in Complex and Specialty areas.
- Experience in collaborating with internal and external key stakeholders where there has been a demonstration of technical knowledge of Australian Standards and international best practices reflective of a subject matter expert.
- Engineering qualification (essential)
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills both written and verbal to all levels within a company.
- Demonstrated experience in Client Strategy Development and Portfolio Management within a property and operational risk management focus.
