The Opportunity
Are you a naturally curious Risk Information Officer who enjoys solving problems? We have an excellent opportunity in our Risk Management & Compliance team for someone that loves challenges and variety. This is a permanent role, with the flexibility to be based anywhere in Australia for the right person.
The Risk Information Officer will provide operational and strategic data and information analysis across risk management and a wide range of other functions. The role will work closely with the team assisting in risk management activities, internal audit, emergency and continuity management, privacy and modern slavery functions. With approximately 110 offices and over 250,000 clients, our scale provides a unique challenge with great engagement opportunities with our 2,500 strong staff.
What will your typical week look like?
- Identify, collect and review a wide range of risk and other information to produce quality reports and guidance
- Assist with the development of statistical, dashboard, Executive and Board reporting
- Contribute to numerous initiatives through effective collaboration with the team and a wide variety of stakeholders
- Develop and continuously improve critical whole of business frameworks
- Assist with risk and control assessments, risk management functions and internal audit emergency and continuity management, modern slavery processes and privacy and data breaches

- Ability to work well within a team especially on shared projects, collaborating positively with the team and a broad stakeholder group.
- Passionate about Risk Information providing narrative and forecasting
- Ability to undertake risk assessments, workshops, reporting and both technical and non-technical discussions
- Working knowledge of risk management methodologies including risk identification and assessment, control testing and reporting (in accordance with the Standard)
