The Opportunity
Here at Findex we are currently seeking an experienced Risk Management Analyst to join our Risk Management & Compliance team. This is a permanent role, with the flexibility to be based anywhere in Australia for the right person.
The Risk Management Analyst will provide operational and strategic data and information analysis across Risk Management and a wide range of other functions. The role will work closely with the team providing support with Risk Management activities, internal audit, emergency and continuity management, privacy and modern slavery functions. With approximately 110 offices and over 250,000 clients, our scale provides a unique challenge with great engagement opportunities with our 2,500 strong staff.
What will your typical week look like?
- Identify, collect and analyse a wide range of risk and other data to produce quality reports and guidance
- Utilise systems and technology to delve into data, seeking patterns and trends.
- Assist with the development of statistical, dashboard, Executive and Board reporting across a variety of functions, forums and committees in a timely and articulate manner
- Assist with undertaking risk and control assessments along with other Risk Management functions in accordance with the framework
- Assist with other team functions relating to internal audit emergency and continuity management, modern slavery processes and privacy and data breaches
- Naturally curious and ability to solving different kinds of challenges and problems using your analytical mind.
- Ability to work well within a team especially on shared projects, collaborating positively with the team and a broad stakeholder group
- Passionate about numbers and statistics with demonstrated skill in data analytics (both qualitative and quantitative) and the ability to undertake root cause analysis and identify trends, using excel, PowerBI and other applications
- Experience with reporting on root causes and trends across a wide range of risk and other business data
- Working knowledge of Risk Management methodologies including risk identification and assessment, control testing and reporting (in accordance with the Standard)
