Job DescriptionWe have a new role available within Risk Management's Monitoring & Compliance Team in Melbourne or Sydney for an Analyst/Consultant to support KPMG Australia in complying with its obligations under ISQM 1 and other requirements.Are you ready to leverage your existing audit and compliance capabilities in a new and challenging environment?Join Risk Management's Monitoring & Compliance Team supporting the monitoring of compliance with International Standard on Quality Management 1, Quality Management for Firms that Perform Audits or Reviews of Financial Statements, or Other Assurance or Related Services Engagements (ISQM 1) and other regulatory and internal obligations for KPMG Australia.This is an opportunity to work on continuously enhancing a quality framework of processes and controls, in collaboration with senior KPMG stakeholders, both locally and across the KPMG International network, at one of the world's leading professional service firms.Your Opportunity The role will bring you significant exposure to the breadth of regulatory and internal compliance obligations that impact KPMG. With the support of a high performing team, you will be instrumental in:
  • Designing and executing testing activities to facilitate compliance with ISQM 1 and other requirements
  • Preparing and presenting clear and concise reports detailing the outcomes of testing activities
  • Managing the progress and delivery of actions to address test findings
  • Developing and maintaining effective, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within the local, regional and global KPMG network
  • Supporting senior team members with other monitoring and compliance related activities across the firm

  • Minimum one year's experience in internal/external audit, risk processes and related methodologies
