Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works. Monadelphous has been operating in New South Wales since 2000 and is well-established as a local business. The role of Rope Access Superintendent will see you working across multiple sites in the Hunter Valley region NSW, on a permanent contract.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with multiple operations where you are the primary focal point for all Rope Access activities within the business unit
- Support and manage the delivery of projects and the integration of all project functions to ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Labour coordination for planned and ad hoc maintenance works
- Management and allocation of equipment in line with IRATA and Monadelphous policies and procedures
- Establish project plans based on prioritised tasks, available resources, work schedules and project milestones
- Lead safety culture, initiatives and performance throughout.
- Develop strong relationships with key customers and liaise on a day-to-day basis to plan work, keep them informed of progress, resolve any issues of concern and identify variations or additional work required.

What you will bring
- Proven experience working in a Rope Access Coordinator/Supervisor position in a shutdown environment.
- Maintenance/shutdown experience in the mining industry highly desirable.
- Either previously held or hold a current IRATA Certification
- Excellent working knowledge of trades and disciplines involved in project operations.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate others.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, SharePoint and Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in delivering safe and reliable construction service solutions and committed to the safety, wellbeing, and development of employees.
- Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment.
- Proof of right to work in Australia.
