Rope Access Technicians

Highpoint Access & Rescue is a family owned Rope Access company based in Rockhampton Central Queensland and has been operating for 21 years. We are seeking to expand our Rope Access capacity in all levels. The right candidates will fill permanent and casual Rope Access Technician positions.

All positions will require the successful applicants to be willing to travel across Queensland and New South Wales for projects both short and long in duration.

To be considered you must hold:

• Current “C” Class Australian Drivers Licence
• Level 1, 2 or 3 Rope Access certification (SPRAT/IRATA or equivalent).
• Construction Industry Generic Induction (QLD White Card or equivalent)
• Nationally Accredited Work Safely at Heights Certification (Current within 3 years)
• Nationally Accredited Confined Space Entry and Work Certification (Current within 3 years)
• Current Senior First Aid Certification or equivalent
• Current CPR Certification

Willing to undertake:

• Marine Security, Aviation Security and Police checks
• Pre Employment & Client specific medicals
• Drug & Alcohol Testing

Other Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

• Trade qualifications and experience (eg, Electrical, Mechanical, Welding)
• Supervisory Experience
• High risk licences (Dogger, Rigging RB RI RA, Elevated Work Platform,  Personnel Hoist, Forklift)
• Operate Swing Stage
• NDT (Ultrasonic, Liquid Penetrant, Mag Particle) certification and experience
• Current Nationally Accredited Operate Breathing Apparatus Certification
• Current Vertical Rescue, Confined Space Rescue and Tower Rescue qualifications
