Job description
Ballarat, VIC, Australia, 3350
Scoresby, VIC, Australia, 3179
Full time
Are you a Support Worker looking to move to a full-time office-based role?
Are you passionate about having a positive impact on our ageing community?
Work in a supportive team and love what you do!
About the role
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Rostering Coordinator to join our small, but powerful team based in Ballarat. This is a full-time permanent position that is office-based.
You will be responsible for creating rosters that support our older clients within the community to access the services they require to live independently. This may sound simple enough, but you’ll need to use your best problem-solving skills to generate rosters that take into consideration client preferences, support workers and their location. Other key duties will include actioning cancellations and unallocated services, as well as responding to service requests submitted by Case Managers.
About you
You have previous experience in a rostering role.
You love supporting your team and using your excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and provide outstanding customer service.
Rostering can be like a jigsaw puzzle, so you need to thrive on a challenge and be able to remain cool, calm, and collected under pressure!
You’re a natural team player who enjoys a bit of banter with your colleagues while working in an office environment.
We don’t mind if you’ve previously worked in other industries, we encourage applicants from outside the community services sector to apply!
