A bit about the role

Reporting to the Service Manager this role is responsible for ensuring quality care and support is efficiently scheduled to Hazel Home Care Clients. The role will be planning AND ROSTERING our amazing Support Staff ahead of time as well as rostering changes such as emergency shifts. The role requires someone with great communication and a warm personality who can build meaningful and professional relationships with Hazel Home Care Support Staff.

Key responsibilities

• Planning and oversight of the master roster, scheduling of Hazel Home Care staff to meet client requirements

• Continuous review, update, and management of the Hazel Home Care rosters

• Working collaboratively with the Service Manager and Care Managers to ensure Clients are matched with the right support staff

• Build professional relationships with support staff to ensure suitable scheduling to meet their needs as well as closely monitoring availability.

• Provide customer service via telephone, emailing and video calls

• Maintaining and updating the rostering software system

• General ADMINISTRATION AND clerical duties such as using MS Office and internal software packages

• Assistance with staff orientation and training

Key selection criteria

• 12 months Rostering experience

• Aged Care industry experience (ideal)

• Highly professional and able to act with compassion

• Exceptional time management skills, able to multi-task

• Excellent administrative and computer skills, MS Office proficient

• Excellent communication skills

Requirements

• Qualification in Business Administration, Human Resources or Similar

• Current driver's licence and safe driving record

• Federal Police Check
