About the role
Our Roster Coordinator is an integral part the of our operational team. The function of the Roster Coordinator is to complete the fortnightly rosters in advance, making necessary amendments and responding to day-to-day changes in consultation with Team Leaders and Manager.
The role involves liaising with customers, families, and Support Workers to fulfil Leisure Networks rostered activities, with a focus on customer satisfaction; utilisation of Support Workers; compliance to the award, budgetary considerations and financial sustainability whilst maintaining Leisure Networks’ reputation and standards for service quality.
Key accountabilities for the role include:
- Oversight of all roster functions along with strategic and operational leadership in the scheduling of employees
- Ensure that the rostering system is efficiently utilised to plan, forecast and manage rosters in an effective and cost effective manner
- Consult with the People & Culture Team, Team Leaders and Manager on all matters relating to the SCHADS Award, ensuring all rostering decisions are compliant with the Award and Australian Workplace laws
- Forecast future needs and consider workforce planning activities inline with trends, strategy etc
About you;
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in rostering/scheduling, ideally with a NDIS service provider
- Experience or knowledge of disability and the NDIS
- A strong customer service experience working with a variety of people from different backgrounds
