Our Seniors Living services are connected and offer a continuum of care to people living across our seven large, active, vibrant, retirement living estates with individualized care and services provided through our in-home care and service provider, RAAFA Connect or stay in one of our five warm and welcoming residential aged care homes.

This role will offer you the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and collaborative People and Culture team, where you can create value and proudly play a meaningful role in supporting RAAFA’s operational services to oversee effective and efficient rostering practices, aligned to key legislative and financial requirements.  

This role will act as a conduit between key support functions and operation, applying your solid experience and understanding of rostering principles and practices and utilising data analytics to inform rostering decisions, enhance current processes and practices and identify opportunities for improvement.

The role and you:

• Solid experience and understanding of rostering principles and practices, with knowledge of how to create and maintain rosters efficiently and effective given multiple influencing factors.
• Proficiency is using relevant time and attendance software (preferably Optima).
• Understanding of relevant employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to relevant industrial instruments.
• Strong demonstrable knowledge and understanding of workforce planning, forecasting, and optimisation to ensure adequate coverage while controlling labour costs.
• Ability to problem solve and demonstrate successful workforce strategies to deliver effective rostering practices and outcomes.
• Ability to mentor, train and develop employees to consistently meet expected standards and adapt to meet best practice.

What you need to do:

• Have extensive experience in a similar role;
• Have a valid "C" Class Drivers Licence;
• Update your resume;
• Be eligible to work in Australia;
• Satisfactory National Police Certificate (on commencement of employment to be within six months from date of issue) or willing to obtain one;
