Are you our next Rostering Officer?
OnTrack Tasmania is an expanding NDIS provider whose purpose is to enrich the lives of people with disabilities. At OnTrack, we have a strong focus on social justice and support people with disabilities living with mental health and or social issues to live as independently as possible in the community. With a focus on Human Rights, we make further referrals to suitable agencies and advocates on their behalf as requested in support of needs being met. Whether it is getting into housing, joining community groups, or gaining access to employment, we are with them every step of the way.
OnTrack Tasmania is looking for someone to work with Participants through rostering functions to develop suitable supports and represent OnTrack Tasmania as the interface between Participants and services delivered.
Core objectives include:
In conjunction with the Program Manager -
- Ensure shifts are filled in a timely manner and in such a way as to ensure minimum disruption to Participants and ensure maximum cost-effectiveness to the organisation.
- Participate in an OnCall rotating roster.
- Ensure hours rosters are structured and monitored to ensure employees are working within industrial relation obligations.
- Coordinate the rostering of new employees regarding induction and buddy shifts in accordance with the Policy and direction given.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Build, generate and run reports as requested.
- Provide exemplary customer service in relation to all OnTrack Tasmania Staff and Participants as required, including via phone, email, pathway responses or in person.
- Maintain accurate and current soft copy documentation.
- Use software relevant to rostering duties and written communication.
Qualifications (Essential)
- Experience in rostering
- Extensive experience and/or qualifications relevant to working with people with disabilities under NDIS
- Knowledge of working in residential settings.
Other
- Must be willing to attend periodical training.
- When required by law to do so, obtain a Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Card (WWVP) NDIS-endorsed Employee classification and a National Schedule 1 police check.
- Evidence of Australian Working Visa (if relevant)
- Must agree and sign a confidentiality form to protect organisational and Participant information at all times.
