About the Role:
As a Rostering Officer for the allocation of Services, you will play an important role in ensuring the right skilled staff members are matched with clients, meeting individual care plans within The District Nurses (TDN) Client Management System (CMS). You will be responsible for creating new schedules, responding to referrals promptly, and effectively coordinating scheduling requests in consultation with the Scheduling team members and relevant stakeholders. Additionally, you will manage stakeholder relationships and facilitate the adjustment of schedules when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Scheduling:
- Efficiently match skilled staff to clients for individual care plans within TDN's CMS.
- Ensure staff allocation aligns with availability, contracts, and regulations.
Creation of New Schedules:
- Promptly respond to new referrals.
- Collaboratively create scheduling requests with team and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate data entry into the CMS.
Stakeholder Management:
- Promote a positive organisational image with exemplary customer service.
- Exercise sensitivity and confidentiality in stakeholder support, prioritising client dignity.
- Collaborate with the team for an efficient Scheduling service, addressing inquiries professionally.
Adjustment of Schedules:
- Manage planned leave and replacement staff for scheduled and unscheduled absences.
- Effectively communicate schedule changes to various internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Desirable Skills:
- Certificate III in Administration/Business, or a related field.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience in healthcare or a similar field is a plus.
Essential Requirements:
- National Police Check & WWVP Registration.
- A valid unrestricted driver's licence.
