- Experience in assessment, group intervention and evaluation of clinical outcomes with diverse patient, community and/or consumer populations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in the provision of group and person/consumer-focused care.
- Understanding of the current issues experienced in rural communities that impact on delivery in relation to the field of psychological practice for individuals, families and communities.
- Demonstrated willingness to travel to rural sites in NBMLHD to provide an outreach service and/or provision of clinical services.
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit the target audience.
- Commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and an understanding of the issues that impact on delivery in relation to the field of psychological practice.
