About the role
We are looking for a Rural Products Sales Representative to join the team initially on a 12-month, fixed-term contract however there is potential for a contract extension.
Ideally, this position will be full-time however candidates seeking part-time arrangements are encouraged to apply.
As an Elders Rural Products Sales Representative, your expert product knowledge and customer service skills will enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including finding new opportunities for them to explore. Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.
Responsibilities
Provide tailored solutions to clients by taking the time to understand their business needs
Take charge of managing existing customer accounts, identifying new prospects, and generating new growth opportunities
Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to foster relationships based on trust and transparency
Play an active role in contributing to the company's objectives, milestones, and financial targets
Provide support for inventory management, participating in stocktakes and dispatch
Execute sales transactions and generate sales quotes as part of daily responsibilities
About you
To thrive in this role you:
Are a customer-focused team player
Have, or are excited to learn, technical seasonal and Rural Products knowledge to support clients
Ideally have a proven track record in sales, including retail skills however we will invest in the growth of candidates looking to commence their career in ag
Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers
Good organisational and time management skills
Sound computer literacy
A driver’s licence is essential
A forklift licence would be an advantage however not essential
