Saed Design Engineer

 Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management and coordination of team members in obtaining and maintaining all documents related to SAED services.
• Responsible for management and oversight of the site design process to support design production and validation activities.
• Managing internal CAD and contractors’ delivery and timeframes.
• Obtain inputs from SAED team and engage with construction teams to undertake builds
• Review of design outputs including Redline Mark-ups, For-Construction documentation, as-built drawings, structural certifications, power audits, etc.
• Providing design directions to sub-consultants and internal stakeholders
• Co-ordination of design interfaces with other disciplines (including property, town planning, RF and EME)
• Engagement with third-party certifiers, electrical contractors, and geotechnical consultants as needed
• Complete design documentation (schematics, BOMs, etc.) for various design service deliverables, resulting in a product or tooling that supports the manufacturing environment, if applicable, to meet both the customers’ requirements and the Benchmark manufacturing support project requirements.
• Consult with operational personnel, delivery teams, and project stakeholders to ensure that the planned design meets operational and customer needs, submit the design to the customer, attend design meetings, and obtain customer approval on site designs.
• Troubleshoot build issues with subcontractor, SAED team, and customer teams
• Monitor and control site milestones, forecasts, and actuals
• Review and manage subcontractor performance and deliverables
• Stay up to date with customer requirements, guidelines, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliant.

 Application Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary education or Engineering background 
• 5 + years in civil work domain as site Designer or related roles
• Experience with Full Turnkey Telecom Projects
• Australian Driver license
• White card OHS induction
• Ability to travel within Australia if required
• Need to be familiar with Telecom standards especially construction / Civil standards.
