A bit about the role
In this role you will project manage the evaluation of the City of Casey's Safe Around Schools program under the National Road Safety Action Grants Program. You'll also develop a continuous improvement framework for the program.
What you’ll deliver
- Manage the project's day-to-day operations, including planning, delivery, and evaluation.
- Coordinate the evaluation of the current Safe Around Schools program with an external MEL framework contractor.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to develop a School Precinct Road Safety Framework for use by councils and stakeholders nationwide.
- Develop a program delivery model for replication across Australia in partnership with external stakeholders.
- Lead the planning and documentation of outcomes for a Road Safety Forum.
- Support program delivery within the broader School Crossing team as needed.
What you’ll bring
- Hold a tertiary qualification in social and community services (e.g., health promotion, teaching, criminology, community development, youth, or social work) and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a related role and sector.
- Show a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to meet project milestones.
- Demonstrate experience in evaluating behavioural change programs and developing policies under supervision.
- Possess strong time management and project management skills.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check
