About the Project & Opportunity:
Acciona has been awarded the Design & Construct contract for the Singleton Bypass. This major project will see construction of 8km of single lane highway with 6 bridge structures and upgrades to local intersections. This diverse and challenging project has a 2.5year program ensuring longevity in your role and presenting opportunities to grow within the business.
The Safety Administrator is responsible for all activities related with the safety and health of the company's workers. Based out of Singleton, this role will be vital to the success of the project and will include some of the below:
Key Accountabilities-
- Input data into our Safety Management system
- Manage the collation and drafting of the safety section of the monthly report
- Manage the onboarding of Contractors, personnel, and plant
- Attend and manage the minutes for various Safety meetings
- You will manage purchase and issuing of safety equipment.
- Other duties as needed to assist the greater team
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- Safety qualification is desirable
- Health and Safety Administration experience in a construction or similar industry is highly regarded
- High attention to detail and good communication skills are a must
- A desire to learn and grow your career
