About The Role
The core purpose of the role is to provide operational teams assistance in the implementation of the safety functions at Project level to provide a safe workplace.
Main duties and responsibilities included but are not limited to:
- Assist Project Teams in the effective implementation of the Safety Program on site(s)
- Assist Project Teams in the use of the Serious Injury, Fatality, and Environmental Risks (SIFER) tools to ensure KPI expectations are met
- Assist in the development and review of Project Risk Assessment Register(s)
- Monitor workforce Induction and training compliance
- Attend Toolbox meetings regularly and encourage workforce feedback on WHSEQ matters
- Complete incident investigations in a timely manner and submit to the Senior WHSEQ Advisor for review
- Assist project teams prepare for upcoming audits
The right candidate will need to have the below experience and qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in WHSEQ
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the building and construction industry
- Certificate IV in WHS
- Ability to obtain ADF DCAC & Police Check
- Current Valid Driver's Licence
- Construction Industry White Card
- First Aid qualification
- ICAM Investigation Training (desirable)
- Audit qualifications (desirable)
