Reporting to the Dealership’s General Managers, indirectly reporting to the QLD Safety Partner this role will see you provide hands on support, technical advice on Health and Safety legislation and implement best practice to drive optimal WHS outcomes. With the ability to keep the long-term strategic vision in view, you will work actively with our employees and managers to coach, train and provide functional support in this specialised area.
With a National Safety network at the helm of our Safety strategy, you will implement and drive operational and strategic WHS plans to meet Organisational targets and objectives including; training and consultation programs, evaluating and maintaining risk management processes, conducting safety audits and incident investigations.

Essential Criteria
- You are an experienced WHS professional who holds technical knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety legislation in QLD
- Experience with incident investigation and analysis
- Skilled in implementing and supporting teams to achieve safety deliverables
- Attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining a safety database
- A positive attitude and the ability to meet the needs of our stakeholders
- Current QLD driver’s licence, unrestricted
Other qualities we look for in our team
- Fire Safety Advisor and/or WHS certifications, desirable
- Mechanical workshop experience and/or understanding is valuable however not essential
- Experience in transforming WHS culture within a fast-paced organisation
- Confidence, reliability, integrity and flexibility
