AddressReporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will provide technical advice and coaching to employees, leaders and contractor personnel in the implementation and management of safety and training systems across Laverton Operations. The role also offers an opportunity to get involved with establishing and implementing a positive Health & Safety culture amongst our employees and contractors.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity, working 8 days on, 6 days off roster. The role may be Fly-in Fly-out from Perth WA, Drive-in Drive-out from Kalgoorlie or residential in Leonora and Laverton.

- Providing workplace health, safety related advice
- Support the project’s critical risk management process.
- Training and promotion of the health and safety systems and processes
- Incident Reporting and Investigation
- Supporting the development and roll out of Health and Safety initiatives.
- Conducting in field safety coaching through quality safety interactions and field leadership
- Support and assist in the management of return-to-work programs needed by the workforce.
- Screen on site fitness to work suitability and testing including Drug and Alcohol screening.

- Demonstrated experience in a similar position within the mining industry,
- Minimum of Certificate IV: Health & Safety
- ICAM Lead Investigator (or equivalent)
- Drug & Alcohol – Authorised Tester
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent understanding of Mines Safety & Inspection Legislation
