AddressDue to the attainment of a brand new contract, Campbell Transport is seeking to appoint a new Work Health and Safety Advisor to join our rapidly growing team at Murrin Murrin.

Campbell Transport has secured an exciting new contract at Murrin Murrin in the Goldfields Region of WA. Partnering with Aurizon, we will be delivering bulk haulage and logistics solutions in one of WA’s largest nickel mines.
This diverse role will see you over seeing all aspects of health & safety including providing specialist advice to management, develop and implementing staff wellbeing strategies, and continually promote a proactive Health and Safety culture for all stake holders. We offer an 8/6 roster with site being only a hour flight from Perth!
The Role:
- Provide WHS advice, information, instruction, and training on site
- Helping and managing the risk associated with hazards across the workforce
- Reviewing and analysing injury and incident reports and data
- Checking WHS standards and compliance with WHS policies, including workplace inspections, asset inspections, induction, and training of staff
- Promoting WHS awareness
- Investigating incidents and publishing reports in order to unpack lessons learned and identify remedial actions
You:
- Proven experience in a fast paced and multi-disciplined safety role
- Health and Safety qualifications
- In depth knowledge of up to date WHS legislation
- Experience in WHS policy and report writing
- Familiarity with data analysis and monitoring of reporting statistics
- Amazing attention to detail
- Great team player with the ability to build rapport across all levels of the business
- Will confidently contribute ideas and concepts and bring them to life
- Mining and/or Transport industry experience highly regarded
