Incident Management:
- Manage and report on incidents and non-conformances promptly.
- Conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular assessments of workplace hazards and risks, focusing on unique challenges in manufacturing environments.
- Assist Managers in identifying corrective and preventative actions.
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of action plans.
- Assist the HSEQ-HR Manager in carrying out comprehensive risk assessments across all business functions.
- Assist in developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
- Lead in-house training sessions on approved procedures and processes.
- Conduct regular site visits to manufacturing facilities.
- Advise the HSEQ-HR Manager on safety and quality compliance issues and improvements.
- Conduct monthly safety inspections of manufacturing sites and retail centres.
- Perform behaviour safety-based observations to promote safe work practices.
- Induct new personnel, providing specific training on manufacturing safety protocols.
- Keep detailed records of all safety inspections and audits.
- Continuously monitor and analyse WHS and quality assurance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Update communication boards with relevant and approved HSEQ-HR information to keep staff informed.

VITAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE
You will need to have relevant Tertiary or Tafe qualifications plus experience in a similar role.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
- Exceptional interpersonal/communication skills, including the ability to listen, engage, and liaise with individuals at all levels of the organisation
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve
- Ability to use judgment, initiative, and common sense when performing duties
- Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Sound organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
- Ability to deliver effective training and presentations
