About the role
As the Heath, Safety and Training Advisor, you will be responsible for collaborating with team members and leaders to encourage a positive safety culture across the work shop, also supporting in the training and mentoring to ensure tasks are carried out efficiently to company standards.
Duties
- Support and lead incident investigations to implement corrective actions
- Coordinate safety inspections and risk assessments
- Assisting with procedural development, tendering submissions, and safety meeting facilitation
- Maintaining a strong site presence to ensure workforce engagement and strong customer relationships.
- Supporting in return-to-work procedures
- Support in providing training and coaching to team members
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a similar position/industry
- Tertiary qualifications In Health & Safety
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment
- Sound knowledge of WA legislation
- Full Australian Work rights
- Current Driver's License
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a dynamic team
- Flexibility to travel as required
