Safety Coordinator

Redpath Partners are partnering with a highly regarded tier 2 civil contractor to assist them in recruiting a Safety Coordinator to be based in Richmond, NSW. 

This role is vital in influencing Project Managers to achieve health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) excellent. You will be a natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills and strong technical expertise to;

• Steer the development and implementation of HSEQ standards that align with compliance and due diligence requirements
• Undertake audits and inspections
• Work closely with senior management to prepare reports
• Motivate and educate employees to champion best practice use of  systems
• Develop work method statements, project plans and inspection and test plans
• Implement system changes and improvements to demonstrate continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will posses the following;

• A qualification in work health and safety (minimum of Certificate IV)
• Knowledge of current legislation, standards and industry requirements
• A minimum of 3 years experience working on a construction site.
