About our new opportunity -
We are looking for a Compliance, Safety and Risk Officer to join our Support Office Team in South Brisbane. Reporting to the Compliance, Safety and Risk Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating incident management, hazard identification, risk assessment, complaint resolution, regulatory compliance, audits, policy development and implementation, and investigation and reporting processes within Edge Early Learning.
The role requires a candidate who is hard working, detail focused and has the willingness to support the team and the group as necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements -
- A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Early Childhood Education, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance).
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education and care regulations in Australia.
- Proven experience in compliance management, incident resolution, and policy development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong time management.
- Ability to analyse data and identify areas for improvement.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of Safety and quality.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
- A high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
