About the role..
A exciting opportunity has arisen for a Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator to join the Hilton Foods Team! Based at our Heathwood site, the successful candidate will ensure the delivery of a comprehensive framework across the business at all stages of the employee and production lifecycle, as well as driving a strong culture through all levels of the Company. A great opportunity for someone starting out in the industry who wants to learn from some of the best.
The S&W team bring this vision to life by ensuring a consistent, coordinated and harmonised approach to the delivery and management of S&W. This includes:
- Assist in the development & implementation of frameworks, initiatives & programs which align with S&W components of HFAPAC strategic plan, & ensure compliance with all relevant legislation;
- Undertake reporting & analysis on key S&W metrics;
- Assist with the development & delivery of educational materials to employees at all levels of the organisation;
- Lead the effective management of workplace incidents, WorkCover and return to work programs;
- Ensure the effective management of risks & hazards, including review, development & implementation of necessary programs, tools & reports to improve safety outcomes;
- Contribute to the development & implementation of wellbeing programs & initiatives.
- Provide oversight and support in plant transport related safety issues and activities and align with strategical direction
About you!
- Diploma / Cert IV in Safety and/or related discipline
- Experience in manufacturing/FMCG industry (Food manufacturing experience is highly regarded).
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting priorities
- Understanding of Safety Management Systems desirable
- Training, presentation, coaching and facilitation skills (desirable)
