A leader in the educational resources industry and in operation since 1989, Kookaburra Educational Resources is currently seeking a dynamic Sales Agent to deliver superior customer service and outcomes to schools in the Wollongong and South Coast NSW region.
Our range includes audio visual, presentation equipment, interactive classroom tools, office equipment, software, stationery, art supplies, textbooks and other teacher resources, allowing the successful candidate to be complete solution provider for schools and organisations in their region.
To our customer base, we are known as a trusted advisor and partner - “experienced and knowledgeable in AV technology” having worked extensively within the Government, Catholic and Independent school markets of Australia.
About the Role
- Your focus will be calling on K-12 Schools, actively seeking new business opportunities, opening doors to new accounts, whilst nurturing and developing the existing customer base;
- You'll develop and progress a sales pipeline;
- Perform product demonstration and presentations;
- Attend conferences to promote the company and product;
- Leverage Preferred Supplier Agreements and Government Contracts Kookaburra has been awarded;
- Marketing materials, campaigns and catalogues are provided by Kookaburra;
- This education industry role will provide exceptional work/life balance to the successful candidate.
- ‘On the job’, direct and continual 1 on 1 coaching and mentorship is provided to ensure your success;

- You are a bright, self-motivated, and an energetic person.
- You're excited about building meaningful business relationships and look forward to providing exceptional customer service to our School Customers.
- You are experienced and confident leading conversations with decision makers.
- You do not necessarily have experience within the education market however you are ready to immerse yourself into a new industry.
Experience
Sales experience, Door-to-door sales experience is preferred.
Licence/Certification
Australian Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
Vehicle (Mandatory)
Working with Children Check (Mandatory - prior to start date)
This is a NON-CAPPED commission only role with attractive future earning potential, which includes an initial financial support structure. Proactive Sales Agents are currently earning $100-200K pa.
