Bulk Trading Far East Pte Ltd is a prominent player in the global coal market, specializing in sourcing, trading, and exporting high-quality coal products to clients worldwide. With a strong presence in the industry, we are seeking a dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our coal sourcing efforts in Australia, focusing on building relationships with key stakeholders for export purposes.
Position Overview:
As the Sales and Marketing Manager, your primary responsibility will be to spearhead our efforts in selling Australian coal to clients in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Sales and Marketing within the coal industry, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer requirements, and regulatory frameworks in the target regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and challenges in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan's coal markets.
Develop comprehensive Sales and Marketing strategies to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
Collaborate with the management team to set sales targets, budgets, and pricing strategies.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities.
Serve as one of the key contact points for clients during the sales process.
Engage with clients to understand their evolving requirements and preferences, anticipating future demand.
Business Development and Sales:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
Set standards and policies for sales arrangements, to ensure favourable outcome for all parties involved and to ensure customer satisfaction.
Manage and direct sales activities to achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively promoting the value proposition of our coal products and services.
Marketing and Brand Promotion:
Develop marketing initiatives to enhance Bulk Trading's brand presence and reputation as a reliable partner for coal sourcing. Participate in industry events, leverage digital marketing channels, and engage with key stakeholders to promote Bulk Trading's capabilities and value proposition.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: High level collaboration with internal teams, including trading, logistics, finance, and legal departments, to ensure seamless execution of coal sourcing and export operations.
Requirements
1. Minimum 5-year experience of high-level sales management in the thermal coal or a relevant sector
2. Has developed good network of relationships and clients
3. Japanese/Korean language proficiency
4. Knowledge of Japanese/Korean Thermal and Metallurgical industry
5. Able to work with different time zones
6. Willing to travel to meet clients and key stakeholders
