Senior Marketing Manager
What you’ll own.
- The global marketing strategy & executing its initiatives (you’ll own the marketing plan and content calendar off the back of this; fleshing it out, briefing things in, populating strategic elements, ensuring the team own their elements)
- Marketing metric KPIs and trade objectives. You’ll share the responsibility to hit eCommerce sales targets with our eCommerce Manager and you’ll work together on executing trade tactics to hit targets.
- Working with the founder & our marketing advisor to introduce marketing processes and structures, such as go-to-market strategies, more detailed reporting and considered product launches.
- Marketing reporting directly to the founders and wider team.
- Meetings & momentum. We’re relying on you to help us build more brand momentum and as you know, that requires initiative, strategy, risk taking and leadership.
- The brand’s marketing mix: content and storytelling, social media, paid media, retail marketing (we do lots of pop ups), partnerships (brand, some platforms & influencers), PR, gifting etc. Elements of each will be owned by your team, but you’ll be the accountable one to get sh*t done.
- The marketing budget; managing spend, allocations, and highlighting areas to save/move/spend
- Storytelling as it pertains to marketing; brief in content angles and edit, approve copy and creative
- Management of up to 5 direct reports (not all exist right now, you’ll be a big contributor to the recruitment and onboarding of some of these roles). *Please note that some roles are based in our Melbourne office, others in our Gold Coast office
- Our relationship with our external digital marketing agency.

You're a holistic marketer with a solid digital background, who knows the industry like the back of your hand, both online and offline. You have a strong strategic mind, an appetite to do big fun things, great attention to detail, an aesthetic eye and you care about whether something looks, feels and is done right.
You're entrepreneurial & ready to roll up your sleeves.
An entrepreneurial culture and growth mindset is much more exciting to you than just getting stuck in your box doing the same thing day-in-day-out. You're ready to have real impact on a brand, and you recognise this can be a challenge as a brand scales and grows. You’re willing (and able) to both roll up your sleeves and get things done, while also steering the ship strategically and thinking big picture of how to move forward. We like to call it attaching the wings while flying the plane.
You know data, you like data, you can read data.
You might not know or use all of our systems, but you’re used to reading metrics across a range of different platforms: GA4, Shopify/CMS, CRM (Klaviyo or similar), Meta, Google, reviews, the list goes on. You know how channels work together, and when they can cannibalise each other, and you’re always looking for ways to collect data and digitise an offline or in-store experience.
You also know people, storytelling and connection.
You know the secret sauce to long term growth is brand love, and we’ve done a pretty good job so far at creating that. As a marketer, you recognise the importance of language, visuals and storytelling, and care about the detail of every single touchpoint and interaction a customer has with a brand. You’re a well balanced blend of creativity and storytelling, and data-driven conversion activity.
