Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the development and delivery of the annual marketing plan and budget.
- Plan and implement marketing strategies and programs to maximise customer traffic flow throughout the centre.
- Ensure objectives are set for each relevant campaign and effective results measuring processes are in place.
- Ensure all centre management staff are briefed on all promotions/events/campaigns.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the centre’s key issues, competitor activity, trade area demographics and trading patterns
- Understand trends and individual retailer performance.
- Review the monthly sales report and pinpoint individual retailers/categories requiring extra assistance; work with Centre Manager/Assistant Centre Manager to devise strategies for their support.
- Develop positive and productive working relationships with all centre retailers.
- Ensure campaigns remain on budget.
- Ensure compliance with both statutory and relevant company Shopping Centre requirements.
- 3-5 years experience in a marketing or communication role- essential
- Shopping centre, property or retail industry experience - essential
- Shopping centre development marketing experience - desired
- Marketing or Communications degree or similar qualification - desired
