The Opportunity
This unique Sales and Service Engineer role will see you not only selling our world-leading brand of alignment and condition monitoring products, but also providing on-site service. This hands-on approach of needs based selling provides the perfect opportunity to become intimate with the specific requirements of your customers and build long term, trust-based relationships.
This role will ideally be based in Victoria and is responsible for Aquip business in Victoria and South Australia. Option to work from home.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical engineering or trade qualification
- Experience in the application and/or sales of industrial instrumentation or similar
- High level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and pursue new strategic opportunities
- Knowledge of SAP or other CRM platforms preferred
- Australian or NZ PR/Citizenship required to be applicable for this role
Tasks & responsibilities
- Promotion of Aquip Systems products and Services in VIC/SA to defined product sales areas/industries
- Interpret product benefits and technical information and turn them into advantages for your customers
- Effective management of opportunity pipeline to ensure KPI's are met
- Development and execution of a sales plan to generate new opportunities focusing on key products and customers within the defined territory
- Work closely with Suppliers for Sales and technical support
- Provide laser alignment and condition monitoring services to customer as required.
- Sales of other measurement products in the Aquip range as required
- Attending events, networking, onsite client visits across VIC/SA
