THE ROLE
The Inside Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting outside Sales Engineers, providing customer support, promoting, applying, and growing sales of the company’s instrumentation, valves, telemetry, networking, products, and integrated solutions. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Generate day to day proposals for entire portfolio, including but not limited to Telemetry, Valves, and Instrumentation (Wireless radios, Signal Isolators and Barriers)
- Work with suppliers to obtain technical details, price, and availability as part of customer proposal generation
- Review of customer purchase orders, ensuring order details match the proposal that they relate to. Making sure details match with purchase orders sent to suppliers and arrange all necessary documents required
- Modelling of RF Desk Top studies based on customer data and make recommendations
- Follow up on proposals and reporting in the company CRM is required
ABOUT YOU
You will have strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships while remaining focused in times of high workload. As a candidate seeking a long-term role, you possess the following skills and qualities:
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering qualification
- Strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, resourceful, and self-motivated
- Product knowledge and/or a background in Oil & Gas, Water, Power, Agri, and/or Food & Beverage
