Troocoo have been engaged to source 2 Senior Application Packaging Engineers for our Federal Government client who will be responsible for undertaking Application Packaging in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune for distribution to the required desktop and server endpoints.
The successful candidates will work under the limited direction of senior staff, exercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy, and in the application of practices and procedures.
The primary technologies will be Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Applications Packager, Rapid 7, and Broadcom Data Centre Security Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate the installation and configuration of Windows applications (package), configure security patch delivery, Windows feature updates, drivers, language packs, and vulnerability fixes for both windows servers and desktop in a format compatible with Intune and SCCM.
- Design, develop, coordinate, and manage Application Packaging projects.
- Package applications and software updates using a scripting language.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis and remediation efforts on major Windows Application Packaging and deployments.
- Diagnose Windows application deployment issues and coordinate package improvements/fixes.
Prior experience in a similar role is imperative, as decision making is substantially dependent on judgement, skills and knowledge. You will manage and organise your own work in the context of competing priorities, including contributing to business planning, changes in workplace practices and business improvement strategies. This position requires a minimum Negative Vetting Security Clearance.
