About the Role
Reporting to the National Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing sales and profitability, developing new and existing business opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers.
It will suit someone who is competitive, thrives in an independent working environment and is seeking the next step in their sales career.
The position is based in Perth, but some travel will be required.
Skills and Experience
As a key member of our supportive sales team, the ideal candidate will have:
- A genuine interest and passion for the industry
- Strong FMCG sales experience with a proven track record of success
- The ability to be self-motivated with a willingness to continually learn and develop your skills
- High level communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
- Excellent organisation and planning skills to ensure effective account management
- Self-starter who uses own initiative to generate and secure new business
- A willingness to go the 'extra mile' for your customers
- Results driven and proactive with a positive "can do" attitude
- Track record in "cold-calling" accounts
- Excellent administration and computer skills – Excel, Word, CRM etc
Experience selling to retailers or within a FMCG environment would be beneficial but not essential.
