Sales Assistant/Administrator Role (Commercial)
We are looking for a keen applicant who can assist our sales manager in growing a long-standing family business. Alkar Refrigeration & Air Conditioning been operating for over 50 years in the Refrigeration & Air conditioning industry, supporting local supermarkets and the food chain industry. Based just south of Brisbane offering servicing and installations across all of Queensland and Northern NSW.
This role is to assist the facilitation of quotes/orders and associated administration duties within the sales department. The role will also entail a basic level of marketing and have a potential for growth for the right applicant.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Alkar would prefer someone who has experience with the following:
- Microsoft Excel and Simpro/MYOB/XERO or similar
- Sales Quoting, sales order agreements & invoicing.
- Good communicator & Customer service skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Reliable and Punctual.
- Ability to work independent as well as part of a team environment.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assisting the sales manager to complete quotes ready to take to sales meetings or email direct to clients.
- Enquiring with suppliers for pricing for quotes ie. transport etc
- Marketing Assistance to Sales Department
- Generating sales order agreements and deposit invoices.
- General sales administration
