About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Consultant to play a crucial role in our Commercial Sales team.
Reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing sales in Victoria and become part of our respected and highly successful sales team.
The role includes:
- Maintaining & developing relationships with key customers including Architects, Specifiers and Commercial Flooring Contractors & Builders
- Actively promoting the company's innovative range of flooring made with the latest technology the industry has to offer.
- Identifying key projects with a view to achieving specifications
- Providing accurate and on time quotations and follow-ups.
- Attending trade shows and keeping up to date with industry trends
- Managing Vic Teams CRM in regard to quotation and offering alternative products.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have excellent communications skills, be enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude.
In addition, the following skills are required:
- 5+ years Commercial Sales experience and directly promoting products to Architects, Commercial Contractors & Builders
- Fabrics / furniture background is preferred with Commercial Builder relationships an advantage (flooring experience is not essential)
- A true hunger to succeed, with architect and commercial builder contacts that have a proven ability to grow a market segment.
- The ability to build relationships with key decision makers within the commercial flooring Industry
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a small team environment and to achieve sales targets and goals.
- Good computer skills, specifically Excel and Word
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tool
- Driver’s license
