Responsibilities will include:
- Leveraging in-depth product knowledge to demonstrably promote and sell our clients diverse agricultural product range.
- Cultivating strong customer relationships through proactive engagement, needs assessments, and solution recommendations.
- Negotiating and finalising contracts to secure favourable terms for both parties.
- Providing post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Achieving and surpassing sales targets through effective prospecting, lead generation, and closing techniques.
- Preparing and submitting comprehensive sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies.
- Leading and mentoring the Customer Service team, imparting product expertise and best practices.
- Developing and delivering training programs to enhance the sales team's skills and product knowledge.
- Conducting performance evaluations and create development plans for team members.
- Collaborating seamlessly with Customer Service and sales support teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Partnering with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress towards company objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Agriculture, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated success in agricultural sales or a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a strong customer focus.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of agricultural products and practices.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Google Workspace, and internal company programs.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented with a proactive, strategic mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and independent work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
